JAWAHAR KNOWLEDGE CENTER
Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) was established in August 2010 in our college. Since then, it is making rapid strides in imparting training in industry oriented skills and providing placement drives to the students of our college in particular and students of Krishna District, in general, the purpose for which it is established.

Concept
The concept behind the establishment of JKCs in Government Degree Colleges in the State is to enhance the employment potentials of the young graduates imparting Communication Skills, Soft skills & Computer Oriented skills.

The unique feature of JKCs is its Training Program designed to help the students to grow as a professional. The training aims at sharpening the competencies of the students and giving them right inputs on Technology and soft skills. This 300 hour training programme shapes final year students in Degree Colleges as Employable graduates. This training is offered by trained GEM and MENTORS
Why JKCs ?
Colleges at undergraduate level have little scope for campus recruitments. Consequently, even the best of the candidates from remote areas are getting deprived of a chance to get into the established institution/ Companies. Majority of the students are weak in soft skills and communication skills that the industries / companies need and these can be imparted well in a good Environment.

The learning in JKC is a joyful experience in the life of trainees. It is completely different from conventional class room learning where it is teacher centered. The unique feature of imparting skills in JKC is through “Student centered an Activity Oriented Learning” in which students are encouraged to participate in all activities such as play lets, Group Discussions, Name Games etc reducing the much boring lengthily teaching way of learning by students.
